Templates
This part of the documentation focuses on a critical feature of the Integray - Templates. This tool simplifies and optimizes the process of creating and managing integrations between various systems. The aim of this section is to provide you with a comprehensive overview of what Templates are, how they function, and the benefits they bring in the context of the use of Integray.
A template is a reusable set of steps that enables the connection of various systems and provides comprehensive functionality. Templates are primarily created and defined by experienced users with a deep understanding of integration processes and system requirements. These templates are crafted from functional, thoroughly tested configurations, ensuring reliability. Designed to be easily configurable, templates enable all users, including those without advanced technical skills, to effectively utilize complex integrations.
Key benefits of templates
- Time efficiency and error reduction
Templates significantly contribute to the efficiency and reliability of integration processes. Their use leads to substantial time savings as you are not required to build each integration from scratch. The predefined scenarios offered by Templates are already fine-tuned and tested, reducing the likelihood of errors during the integration process.
- Template updates
Templates are designed to be flexible and easily updatable. Templates can be swiftly updated whenever there are improvements or changes in technology or integration requirements. This allows you to keep your integrations current and effective. Updates are distributed directly into existing Templates or are provided through simple update processes, ensuring everyone has access to the latest and best features.
- Methods of sharing templates
Sharing Templates is simplified through two primary methods. The first method involves generating and downloading an import, which allows users to quickly and easily obtain and implement Templates. The second method includes the use of links to a public repository. This method offers a convenient way to distribute updates, as you can click on a link, verify the update, and then download the latest version of the Template.
The Templates feature is divided into two main parts, which together form a complete cycle of creating and applying a Template. The first part is Template Studio, which serve as the foundation for creating and defining Templates. In this phase, users carefully select and set specific configurations and parameters to define the Template. The second part is Templates Apply, which focuses on the practical application of the predefined Templates. In this phase, users have the opportunity to review a detailed description of each Template and fill in the necessary configuration details, such as variables and tokens. This process ensures that each applied Template will function correctly and efficiently.
